Well, we have finally got a booking in the diary for mid November. Then Boris went and changed all the rules so we are not sure whether that will go ahead. Luckily the pub we are booked to play also runs as a restaurant so the current rules allow them to remain open but much can change in a month so we shall see.

We have been adding lots of great new material to our set so we are really looking forward to being able to play live, it is such a long time ago that we last managed a live gig. It will be really weird getting back to it.

I have another Capsules album being released tomorrow so that is good. I have had a variety of ideas for more experimental works and I hope that I will find time to bring some of them to fruition.

I have been writing some new solo material and am looking at how best to present that, including considering the live format. I am thinking perhaps a looper and the vocal effects pedal to create a bit more of a full sound. It would be a big step up from anything I have done solo in the past but now is the perfect time to get some practice in and try some new ideas so we shall see what happens.

Fingers crossed for the live gig mid November, I will report back…
