Well Christmas passed in a blur and despite having plenty of time away from work I did very little from a creative perspective. Our lockdown continues which means rehearsal for The Sacred Woods can’t take place.

We decided that we are going to do some more videos like in the first lockdown. It has been a long time since I have edited videos so I am going to have to get used to the process again (no doubt making the same mistakes as before!). All we need to do is set to and get something recorded. Perhaps I should make it a goal for next week; Tuesday (rehearsal day) that is when we are going to get our video done and sent over to Tim to do his part (it is now in the diary).

I have been tinkering with a few tunes but generally very quiet on the writing front. February is usually a big writing month for me as it is when I take part in FAWM (February Album Writing Month). Look back at previous blogs around Feb time for detailed explanations.

I am currently taking part in a 21 day meditation challenge led by the London Buddhist Centre. 1 week in and it is going great. Instruction and led meditations 6 days a week at 8am and 1pm plus sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I have not done much meditation before and have never been instructed in how to do it properly so it is really interesting and the teaching quality from the LBC is excellent. I am interested to see if the meditation has any impact on my creativity in Feb during FAWM, we shall have to see. http://www.fawm.org

Well, as I have mentioned a few times in recent blogs, I do feel that the pandemic has sapped all my creative energy so there is nothing else to add this month, hopefully February will be a very different story.
